This Italian Biscotti recipe is an easy biscotti recipe, great for beginners. Traditionally served with coffee for breakfast or with wine for dessert- Enjoy!

Italian Biscotti Ingredients
3/4 cupbutter
3eggs
1egg yolk
1 1/4 cupssugar
1 tspvanilla extract
1 tsporange extract
2 tsporange zest
1/2 tspsalt
2 tspbaking powder
4 cupsflour
1 cupalmonds, slivered
Italian Biscotti Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla extract, orange extract and zest until combined. Gradually add salt, baking powder and flour and mix thoroughly. Fold in almonds.
Shape dough on floured board to desired thickness. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes.
Slice loaf diagonally and arrange slices on baking sheet. Bake on each side for about 7 minutes or until crispy.
