Fat Free Biscotti Recipe

A fat-free biscotti recipe for health nuts ! (Or someone with nut allergies). The fat in biscotti will usually come from the nuts or egg yolks, so remove or substitute them for a fat-free or low-fat alternative.

Fat Free Biscotti Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute, fat-free
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • pinch salt

Fat Free Biscotti Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whisk together egg substitute and sugar. Add vanilla, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix well.
  3. Form dough into flattened log shape of desired size. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes. Lower oven heat to 300 degrees.
  4. Cut loaf into slices and place back on baking sheet. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes on each side.
